Akusta gothic Hebrew font (2018)

Akusa Hebrew Type was inspired by the Latin Gothic blackletter structure to create a modern interpretation of Hebrew letters. With its sharp serifs, 45 degree angles, and bold forms, Akusta pushes the boundaries of traditional Hebrew typography.

The typeface focuses on the classic Hebrew letters but incorporates some cursive letters, such as the letter “מ” (Mem), which uses its cursive variant. In combination with Latin blackletter’s constraints and visual rules, Akusta achieves an unusual and dark look.

Akusta is designed to be as functional as it is visually bold. This typeface maintains its great choice for logos and short headlines due to its carefully designed ligatures and spacing.
